From us to them:
As you are a small group I think is ok if you have fika in our lunch area, but we don’t provide the fika. We have our coffee machines, and again, as you are not many, that would be ok. Is that the fika that you had in mind?
As for the visit content, I would like to ask what do you mean by “from a scientific point of view” so that we are on the same page J
Let me tell you, if it helps, what I like to do if I´m the host:
The aim is that visitors understand what MAX IV is, how explores matter with synchrotron light, and try to provide a “simplified” overview of methods, applications and practicalities. And a couple of examples from different disciplines. All in an impossible-short amount of time. The purpose is to engage the visitors, stimulate you to ask questions J
Then, we have a visit to the experimental hall.
MAX IV interest: Outreach to "users-to-be" communities.
MAX IV staff involved: Ana Labrador,
MAX IV room: MAX III
Visit format and program:
09:00 FIKA
09:30 General introduction to MAX IV. Ana Labrador
10:15 Experimental hall. Ana Labrador
11:00 Visit ends

Feedback (after the visit)
I would like to thank you the visit plan from last Thursday. All the people was very happy to know more about MaxIV and we enjoyed also your presentation. Now we understand a bit more about the synchrotron´s radiation J
I hope we can see each other in the future in a collaboration with MaxIV!
