FemotoMAX team

 

FemtoMAX is a beamline for ultrafast X-ray experiments. It is so far the only beamline located at the 3 GeV LINAC. FemtoMAX covers the photon energy range 2-20 keV and provides sub-picosecond temporal resolution. In this seminar we will show examples of both in-house commissioning and work together with external expert user groups. We will discuss experiments aimed at studying heat-conduction in thin carbon films, ultrafast melting of semiconductors, Electric field driven dynamics in proteins and time-resolved fluorescence from scintillators.
