Date for the visit: 21 May 2019
Visit starts: 13:30

Length of the visit: 2 hours
Number of visitors: 13
Education level: Not provided
Visitor background: limited background on X-ray crystallography.
Motivation, interest, expectations from the visitors: investigation of biological matter
Other Comments: From previous visits I would suggest that the tour should be focusing on the investigation of biological matter e.g. the beamlines Balder, MX etc. It would be nice to have a presentation on Maxlab in general and then on the applications of the beamlines to biological matter. I would be also nice to have a maybe more extended tour at the MX beamline if this is possible explaining the optics and experimental hutch (if this would be possible that day). Our host for the last two years was Marjolein. She did a one hour presentation and made a tour around the ring but was not too specific on any of the beamlines.
