Supp Info:
I am reaching out to you on behalf of the non-profit student organisation Synapse - Life Science Connect. We are a Copenhagen based organisation aiming to bridge the gap between life science academia and industry through events, workshops, and multi-day seminars. I was referred to you and MAX IV through David Zepernick at Medicon Valley Alliance
Currently, we are in the process of finalising our program for our newest initiative: Synapse Connect Medicon Valley, which will be a three day seminar diving into the heart of the medicon valley life science cluster. The event will be composed of two days with company visits and workshops in both Denmark and Sweden, and one case day where the participants will compete in a "Life Hackathon" developed in collaboration with Novozymes and Hello Science. 40 students will participate based on a motivational letter and CV which will ensure that the most dedicated and ambitious participants are chosen to provide an excellent audience for our speakers. You can read more about the event HERE.
If possible, we would like to visit MAX IV and get a tour of your facilities, mainly related to your efforts within biology, engineering, and pharmacy. Would it be feasible to arrange for such tour on Monday, November 11th during late afternoon?
As the students will be mainly life science oriented, we hope that the visit will shine a light on some of the fantastic efforts that is being done within the Danish-Swedish Life Science scene, and MAX IV would be a fantastic addition to our program.
