We invite you to participate in the course "EXAFS for beginners". The aim of the course is to give a comprehensive introduction for tentative EXAFS spectroscopy users at MAX-lab, and to introduce the basic concepts of EXAFS spectroscopy experiment design, theory and data analysis.

The course will be divided in three parts , with the first and third meeting, February 10-13 and March 31 to April 3, at SLU in Uppsala, and the second meeting at the MAX IV laboratory in Lund, March 3-7, see the preliminary schedule for more information.

The workshop is free of charge and the number of participants is limited to 24.

The number of participants is limited to 16 and there is a priority to those students enrolled in the "Soft Matter Graduate School", other students are accepted on first come first serve principle. It is free of charge for all students doing their PhD at a Swedish university. Students enrolled in the “Soft Matter Graduate School” will have the travel and accommodation organized and covered by the school.
