School visits at MAX IV for 8th-grade students – MAX4MINT

The MAX IV research facility in Lund offers school visits for student groups from 8th-grade from south of Sweden. We invite you to a group visit to our facility, including some information material and the possibility of a pre-visit at you school by one of our guides.

Please share this information and the simple registration form https://indico.maxiv.lu.se/event/5105/registrations/433/ with your 8th grade teachers.We will contact them back to initiate the practical arrangements for the visits.

You are most likely aware of the international large scale research infrastructures in Lund, MAX IV and ESS. MAX IV uses its three accelerators to produce synchrotron light used across a wide range of research disciplines. Our facility aims at advancing both basic and applied science, helping to addressing social challenges.
