Description

The SOLEIL synchrotron is the French 3rd generation synchrotron light source. In operation since 2007, it supplies photon beams to 29 beamlines with a maximum intensity of 500 mA, 5000 hours per year.
After spending the first ten years improving the reliability of our equipment, we are getting closer to our goal, which is: 99% availability of the photon beams and 100 hours MTBF. We are constantly trying to maintain these good results while putting a lot of work into the upgrade process of our facility.
We will present the tools we have implemented over the years to track incidents, monitor real-time operational statistics, or allow support groups to monitor many parameters live through customizable dashboards. In addition, we have established a set of processes to analyze major incidents and implement the necessary corrective actions to prevent their recurrence.
