Over T/Here Visit to ESS

The next Over T/Here visit is scheduled for May 24th at ESS. These visits take place a few times per year and they are an opportunity for MAX IV and ESS staff to visit each other's facilities, meet some of the staff, and exchange knowledge.
This visit focuses on the best way to use the facility as a pedagogical tool. How can we make a visit of our facilities a useful tool for learning and engagement? How can we be sure that visitors see past the large, unfamiliar machinery to feel enthused in the stories of what is happening? And what does true ‘engagement’ look like? Joanna Lewis, ESS Communications and Public Engagement officer, will be our host.
The visit begins promptly at 15:00 at the ESS Reception. Please be on time, you won't be able to join if you arrive late.The visit consists of a tour, followed by a short fika. Two hours are scheduled for the event.
Anyone at MAX IV is welcome to sign up, especially if you have never been to ESS. Limit of 15 participants.
