Description

SSUO is the organisation for all Swedish users of synchrotron radiation and free electron laser (FEL) facilities. Our primary aim is to achieve optimal conditions, including financial support, for Swedish researchers to use synchrotron radiation both nationally and internationally. To do this, SSUO will interact on the national level with funding agencies such as the Swedish Research Council Vetenskapsrådet

SSUO is the Swedish member organization of ESUO, the European Synchrotron and Free Electron Laser User Organisation, which exists for the whole European user base of photon-driven large scale facilities. SSUO is also a sister organisation of FASM, the MAX IV Laboratory User Organisation.

We exist to promote the interests of synchrotron and FEL users in Sweden; users from all scientific disciplines are welcome.

We use this page here in order to manage the SSUO membership. Please register here, if you want to become a member, totally free of charge and open for all Swedish users of synchrotrons and FELs, regardless of career stage.

Members of SSUO have the chance to influence and improve our work through strengthening our voice towards funding agencies just by the number of members, but also through providing input for reports, promotion material and by voicing their opinion to us. By registering, you also agree to receive occasional mails from the SSUO board, anticipated to be about a handful per year.
