DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Aymeric Robert (MAX IV Laboratory)\, Jörg Schwenke
(MAX IV)\n\nMAX IV Laboratory\, the Advanced Light Source (ALS)\, and NSLS
-II follow up on the soft x-ray workshop of April 2023 (link) by hosting a
new workshop  on April 15-16 2026\, to continue the collaboration and di
scussion on opportunities with coherent soft X-rays. Because of the worksh
op’s scale and format\, participation is by invitation only.\nThe new wo
rkshop will highlight beams with Orbital Angular Momentum and X-ray cohere
nce as a topic for long-term collaboration and development. The high coher
ent flux provided by fourth generation synchrotrons has lead to an increas
ed interest in the soft x-ray OAM beams in recent years. Through this work
shop\, we aim to promote scientific discussion on the generation and appli
cation of these beams\, and foster international collaboration.\n \n\nThi
s workshop is funded by Vetenskapsrådet\, the Swedish Research Council (w
ww.vr.se) and the Advanced Light Source (https://als.lbl.gov/)\,\nVR  the
major science funding agency in Sweden and the agency that funds MAX IV L
aboratory. The Advnced Light Source is funded by the US Department of Ener
gy / Basic Energy Sciences (https://www.energy.gov/science/bes/basic-energ
 y-sciences)\n\n\nhttps://indico.maxiv.lu.se/event/5590/
