DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the MAX IV Postdoc Day of Science\, a one-day celeb
 ration of science here at MAX IV Laboratory!\nThe aim of this day is to sh
 owcase the incredible range of science taking place here at MAX IV\, inspi
 re new ideas\, and spark new cross-laboratory collaborations. \nEvery pos
 tdoc researcher in the laboratory will have the opportunity to give a shor
 t pitch talk to present their research from their perspective\, with a spe
 cific focus on the way they are contributing to key science and goals of t
 he MAX IV roadmap.\nIn the afternoon/evening\, we will host a poster sessi
 on with posters from across the whole lab\, created by any interested post
 doctoral researchers who would like to highlight any research and capabili
 ties offered at MAX IV.\nWhile the presenters must be postdoctoral researc
 hers\, the attendance at this event is open to all!\nGuidelines for Talks:
 \n\nNo longer than 10 minutes\nThe level should be no higher than first ye
 ar bachelors and should be accessible to anyone with a science background 
 - across multiple disciplines\nThe first part of the talk should center on
  your chosen beamline\, providing an overview of the types of experiments 
 conducted there\, typical operating conditions\, and other relevant detail
 s\nSecond section should be focused on applied science at your beamline\, 
 highlighting how it contributes to the overall key goals of the roadmap. Y
 ou may choose either some of your own work or an interesting paper from th
 e last 12 months and present it.\nMost importantly\, this is for scientifi
 c interest and to get people inspired to try new techniques and design new
  experiments\, so should be kept light and fun! Feel free to add a persona
 l touch!\n\nGuidelines for Posters:\n\nThe posters should depict what the 
 author considers amazing science performed at MAX IV\nKeep the level acces
 sible\nInclude as many pictures as possible\nReally showcase everything yo
