DESCRIPTION:\n\nMany of today's most pressing healthcare challenges includ
 ing cancer\, cardiovascular\, neurodegenerative\, musculoskeletal\, and ch
 ronic inflammatory diseases\; arise from biological processes that span se
 veral orders of magnitude in length scale.  \n\n\nMAX IV\, the national 
 synchrotron facility in Lund\, is planning a new X-ray tomography beamline
  dedicated to non-invasive imaging of soft and hard biological materials a
 cross these scales\, from sub-cellular structures and individual cells to 
 tissues\, organs\, biomaterials\, and even small in vivo animal models. \
 n\n\nThis workshop will present the vision\, scope\, and scientific opport
 unities of the future beamline. We aim to bring together researchers\, pro
 spective users\, clinicians\, facility experts\, and stakeholders to discu
 ss the needs of the scientific community and help shape the beamline's cap
 abilities and scientific priorities. \n\n\nJoin us for a full-day event t
 o learn about the potential of advanced synchrotron X-ray imaging\, hear f
 rom leading scientists in the field\, and contribute your ideas and requir
 ements for the next generation of biomedical imaging infrastructure. Wheth
 er you are an experienced imaging researcher\, have a biological or medica
 l question that could benefit from advanced imaging\, or are simply curiou
 s about the possibilities offered by synchrotron-based tomography\, we wel
 come your participation. \n\n \nThose not in Stockholm/Uppsala aera will
