Show your interest for an MAX IV/ESS visit exchange by clicking "I'm interested!" on the left and fill out the form latest by December 18.

How will it work?
Since we cannot do the visit all at the same time, we will divide you into groups. We’re thinking to form groups of people with roughly the same role within the facilities. So, if you are a beamline scientist you will meet ESS beamline scientists etc.

You get a presentation and a visit of the neighbouring facility. You will then also help with one of the visits to your own facility. Maybe you give a piece of the presentation, help with the tour or similar.

When will this happen?
We aim to have the tours to MAX IV in Feb–March 2018 and to ESS from March when it’s a bit nicer outside. Not all visits will take place on the same day.

By the beginning of next year, when we know approximately how many people are interested, we will publish a more detailed programme. By then, you will also get an email with more instructions on how to sign up for the actual event.
