Scientific Data Managment at synchrotron facilites usually covers a process starting at the submission of a proposal and ending in a publication of scientific results. Many tasks in this process are supported by a number of IT systems, helping the user and staff in every step. These services includes not only hardware, but also software in terms of web portals, databases, analysis tools and access control.
MAX IV laboratory, being a world class facility, should have excellent services for handling user data including acquisition, storage, analysis and data transfer. In this workshop we will present our view on how Scientific Data will be managed at the MAX IV laboratory with some inspirational examples. In addition, we hope to get user feedback on the topic.
