Abstract

Accelerators magnets and insertion devices (undulator) play a key role in the performance of storage light source and Free electron Laser accelerators. A review of these devices technology and possible evolution are exposed. This presentation is based on the author work research in 3 facility (ESRF, SOLEIL, MAXIV).
