Abstract

MAX IV have through a collaboration with ALBA bought 75 electrometers for the beamlines and the machine. The electrometer has four independent current channels and is able to measure from miliamps down to femtoamps. We have two versions, one low voltage which produce an output voltage proportional to the input current, and a high voltage, which allows external biasing to reach the current source. Also, a number of analog and digital inputs and outputs are available.

We would like to demonstrate the electrometer capabilities and show how it is build up, integrated in the control system and how it could be used in the facility. We would also like to have your feedback and questions as you have started to use the equipment.
