At the end of 2023, MAX IV will provide WISE with conceptual design reports for three material sciences beamlines. One of the proposed beamlines will focus on spectroscopy, specifically providing the community with HAXPES instrumentation to allow high throughput and operando characterization of solid, liquid, and gas interfaces. In this workshop, we will present the project's current state to the community, including the science case, beamline design, and technical capabilities of the endstations. The objective is to get feedback and have detailed discussions to finalize various technical aspects of the project.
The hybrid workshop will be on Wednesday, 8th November 13.00-17.00 at Ångströmlaboratoriet in Uppsala with the possibility to participate remotely via Zoom. Lunch will be provided before the workshop from 12:00.
We will send a preliminary copy of the report to participants 1 week before the workshop, along with a survey to collect feedback from the community.
